I was also able to turn off the seat belt buzzer, make both doors lock, and/or unlock at the same time when I touch the drivers door handle, and turn the security system on (it's off by default on the BRZ). Sure enough, once I got TechStream working, it showed me that "Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor #3 is not registering and has a problem". I have an appointment to take the car in and get this fixed early next week but I wanted to figure out what was causing the problem before I went in. So, it definitely wasn't driven enough by the dealer to trigger the TPMS light until I got behind the wheel. The car was NEW, it has 1 mile on it when I bought it. It's stayed solidly lit, so I assumed they just forgot to initialize the TPMS sensors during the pre-sale checklist.

The workaround is to install it manually, as follows: Open the Command Prompt in Administrator Mode, and run the following command line: msiexec /a 'C:tempMVCI Driver for TOYOTA. I deleted both the TechStream program and the MVCI Firmware drivers, reinstalled them in reverse order and everything works great! I purchased my BRZ 3.5 weeks ago and the TPMS sensor light came on about 10mins after leaving the dealer. This is the step most people stumble on as MVCI Driver for TOYOTA.msi installer indeed does not work on Windows 圆4. Hey I just saw you have the same cable I have, and are using the same software version I am.I am unable to activate, what am I missing here? When I drive I always go between 115km to 125km which almost make the buzzing active all the time (when I reach 120km it buzz for 9 tics then goes off) so going up and down in speed around 120km will trigger the speed warning which is pretty annoying !ĭid anyone ever was able to disable the speed warning or change the speed warning limit ? The car comes with 120km speed warning and our roads are between 120km to 130km I was able to turn off the Seat belt warning for Driver seat and passenger seat, I also made the sensors stop buzzing if the distance between me and and obstacle did not change for 3 sec (was annoying on Red light stops).īut one of the most annoying warning is the Speed warning ! that I was not able to change or even find anything relate to it! not sure why With the Easy activation, on a Windows XP SP3 with a Java v7Įverything worked just fine and I can go into settings and change many things and check for health and such : Fotga Newest V8.00.034 MINI VCI for TOYOTA TIS Techstream Diagnostic Cable & Software: Car ElectronicsĪnd I used the software on this thread the V9.00.025
